Sharjah emphasizes November 11-12 as dates of FDI Annual Forum
(MENAFN) The Sharjah FDI Office has affirmed dates of the fifth edition of its yearly flagship event - the Sharjah FDI Forum - as November 11-12.
The event will take place at Sharjah's Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre (JRCC), unde the support of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.
Sharjah's efforts to expand its economy and attract foreign direct investment are bearing fruit, with AED5.97 billion (USD1.63 billion) in FDI being attracted in 2017, according to a study from Oxford Business Group.
The UAE Government's new foreign direct investment (FDI) law could accelerate FDI flows by up to 20 percent this year, according to the Ministry of Economy.
