    Iran sees decline in commercial exchanges with 25 EU member states

    (MENAFN) Iran's trade with European Union member countries has seen a decline of 76.46 percent during the first four month of the current year, when compared to the same period of 2018.

    Iran's trade saw increase with only three countries of the EU and they are Malta, Cyprus and Bulgaria.

    Malta, Cyprus and Bulgaria were the only EU member states to upsurge the volume of their trade with Iran over the same period, and all the 25 remaining EU member states saw a decrease in their commercial exchanges with Iran.

    Trade with Greece (14.54 million euro), Luxembourg (70,927 euro), Spain (68.24 million euro), France (122.2 million euro) and Italy (264.37 million euro) saw the sharpest drops of 97.82 percent, 96.9 percent, 93.13 percent, 87.85 percent and 84.58 percent respectively.
