Iraq pens trade agreement with Iran
(MENAFN) Iraq inked a cooperation deal with Iran aimed at easing collaboration in the trade domain along with wiping out trade obstacles between them.
Baghdad hosted the first ever Iran-Iraq Joint Trade Committee which was seeking to strengthen the role being played by Iranian traders in the Iraqi market.
During the event, the two sides negotiated a range of concerns with banking relations and investment opportunities among them.
Iranian commercial attache to Iraq Naser Behzad also revealed that both sides discussed the standardization of commodities, customs regulations along with technical and engineering services as well as transportation cooperation.
