Royal Jordanian achieves sharp profits
(MENAFN) Royal Jordanian (RJ) recorded a significant surge in its profits from January to June 2019 for the first time ever in twelve years.
During the first half, constant operations allowed the Jordanian flag carrier to generate around USD4,795 million in profits compared to last year's USD2,115 million.
CEO of RJ Stefan Pichler confirmed that the airline enjoyed a sharp boost in main performance indicators as well as an increase in gross profit and net operating profit.
Pichler attributed this performance to steps that RJ took as stipulated in the turnaround plan that it has been implementing since the second half of 2017.
