25 basis points interest rate cuts imposed in Jordan

(MENAFN) Interest rates of the Central Bank of Jordan will witness a 25 basis points reduction on all monetary policy instruments starting August 4th.

Jordan's central bank made the decision following interest rates developments within regional and international markets.

The central bank is looking through the move to strengthen credit presented to a range of economic sector along with stimulating local expenditure in consumption and investment.

The decision was made only a day following 25 basis points cuts the U.S. Federal Reserve imposed on lending interest rate.
