4 deals signed by Iran's NIOC on oil sector
(MENAFN) Four deals were secured between the Exploration Directorate of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Iranian universities and knowledge-based firms.
Under the agreements, involved parties will be working towards the development of the oil industry through research and other efforts.
An initiative for quantitative interpretation (QI) of Abadan plain's seismic cube is among the contracts, alongside research studies on Lorestan Province's shale oil resources.
A geochemical study of several hydrocarbon reservoirs in southern Iran is also included in the agreements with a project to generate 10,000 barrels of a High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT) drilling fluid.
