President and chief executive of Elsewedy Electric Ahmed Elsewedy stated: "having those two projects reaching commercial operation successfully today extends the IPPs [independent power projects] portfolio under Elsewedy Electric to include solar photovoltaic in addition to our existing wind and hydro IPPs."
