2.2 percent jump in Israeli gas, oil, minerals revenues

(MENAFN) Revenues of Israeli natural gas, oil and minerals that were generated from royalties and fees stood at around USD120.9 million from January to June 2019.

Israel's Ministry of Energy revealed a 2.2 percent year-on-year boost in total Israeli natural gas and oil royalties during the first half of the year.

This comes after the country witnessed a revenues decline back in April as a result of a malfunction and brief termination of production from Tamar gas field.

"We expect a significant increase in royalties revenue in 2019 to a new record of more than 1 billion new shekels," affirmed Israeli Minister of Energy Yuval Steinitz.
