Tunisian tourism sector flourishes
(MENAFN) Over 5.5 million people visited Tunisian during the first seven month of 2019, marking a strong performance in the country's tourism sector.
Rene Trabelsi, Tunisian Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, highlighted the significance flood of tourism arrivals mostly in August 2019.
Minister Trabelsi emphasized to reporters that "Tunisia will achieve its goal of attracting nine million tourists, by the end of this year."
Trabelsi added "as for the coming years, we plan to increase the number of visitors, but we will also work on promoting the quality of services and hospitality to boost diverse forms of tourism."
