Iran inaugurates 14 renewable plants operations
(MENAFN) Iran witnessed the operational commencement of fourteen renewable power plants throughout the Government Week within nine Iranian provinces.
A wind farm is among the projects with the rest being solar farms, as announced Head of the Iranian Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA) Seyed Mohammad Sadeqzadeh.
According to the chief, the projects were established to present an overall power capacity of 160 megawatts (MW).
Sadeqzadeh stated "these 14 power plants went operational in East Azarbaijan, Tehran, Hamedan, Zanjan, Yazd, Kerman and Fars provinces."
