    Turkey reviews trade volume target with U.S.

    (MENAFN) Turkey reviewed with the United States measures aimed at sealing USD100 billion in the volume of their bilateral trade as the two countries seek to strengthen their cooperation.

    Ankara hosted the discussions between Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan and U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.

    Minister Pekcan confirmed "we examined means of achieving $100 billion trade volume between the two countries."

    Both sides were further revealed to have explored means to mobilize Turkish export possibilities to the U.S. within a range of domains, including civil aviation, automotive, automotive supply, jewelry, furniture, textile and apparel.
