    Boost in Israel-China travelers

    (MENAFN) Israeli-based Ben Gurion International Airport registered a 23.43 percent boost year-on-year in the number of passengers on China-Israel flights from January to August this year.

    The Israel Airports Authority issued a report, unveiling the number of travelers between Israel and China to have stood at 351,961 during the eight-month period.

    August alone accounted for 45,322 passengers on China-Israel flights, from the 42,430 travelers witnessed during the same month a year easlier.

    Meanwhile, the airport registered a 2.16 percent surge in the number of travelers in international flights passing via the airport, reaching 2.81 million.
