(MENAFN) Finance Minister Mohammed Maait confirmed that Egypt is backing small, medium and micro businesses in the country through a draft law that was recently formed.

Under the draft law, several tax and non-tax incentives will be provided for the support of small, medium and micro enterprises in Egypt.

Minister Maait revealed the law to be covering tax incentives such as waivers from stamp duty and fees for registering the agreements of setting up companies and establishments.

In a statement, Maait added that the incentives include credit facilities contracts for a five-year-period from the date of registration in the trade register.
