    Surge in Turkish exports to USD15.2b

    (MENAFN) Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan confirmed the country to have exported USD15.2 billion worth of commodities last month.

    Imports of Turkey reached around USD17 billion to register a 0.15 percent year-on-year boost, the trade minister revealed during a press conference.

    Exports recorded a 22.6 percent jump in September last year compared to 2017, locking USD14.5 billion which is the biggest figure to be seen.

    On annual basis, Turkish exports hit USD132.5 billion to climb 2.6 percent from January to September 2019 from the same period a year ago.
