    USD120m to reach Lebanon from WB

    (MENAFN) Reports revealed Lebanon to be receiving USD120 million worth of funding from the World Bank (WB) in support of its care centers.

    Using the amount, the WB will extend necessary equipment to primary care centers along with funding medical needs of people in Lebanon.

    Lebanese Health Minister Jamil Jabak stated "the World Bank will offer 120 million U.S. dollars to equip centers and cover people's needs including medical tests and radiography services."

    During the inauguration of a primary care center, the minister highlighted the significance of the project to the weakened economy in the country as well as the inability of people to pay their medical bills.
