    2.7bcm of gas reach Turkey via TANAP

    (MENAFN) Turkey's gas delivery via the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) stood at 2.7 billion cubic meters by the end of September this year.

    CEO of TANAP, Saltuk Duzyol, revealed the initial cost of the project was estimated at USD11.7 billion with a potential 45 percent reduction to hit USD6.5 billion.

    Kizildag, located in the Turkish Erzincan province, is considered as the highest point for the pipeline to operate at 2,760 m.

    TANAP's initial capacity was estimated at 16 billion cubic meters of gas, with about 6 billion cubic meters of gas likely to reach Turkey.
