(MENAFN) IRNA reports announced that, Oman is interested in moving new medicinal technologies to Iran, it also can have good collaboration with Iran in the scientific and research fields, as said by Omani Health Minister Ahmed Al-Saidi.Minister Ahmed Al-Saidi also expressed delight in a meeting with Iran's Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Saeed Namaki on having excellent associations linking Iran and Oman.Al-Saidi said that, "Iranians have the right to take pride in their ancient civilization," hailing Iran's health system and its positive indices in the field of health which have been attained with the efforts of the related officials, he added that, "Iran produces 95 percent of medicines it needs".Iran stands alongside Oman in covering the way for starting universal health coverage (HUC), as said by Namaki, adding that, "We can have good cooperation in exchanging students and instructors and set up joint research centers to study rampant diseases in the region".
