(MENAFN) Etisalat Group, UAE"s leading telecom services operator said its consolidated revenues for the nine-month period reached to USD10.6 billion, while consolidated net profit after Federal Royalty amounted to USD1.82 billion, up 2.1 per cent compared to same period last year.

Etisalat said, announcing its consolidated financial statement for the nine months ending September 30, 2019 the consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (ebitda), amounted to USD5.47billion, representing an increase of two per cent Year over Year (YOY) and resulting in ebitda margin of 52 per cent.

Saleh Abdullah Al Abdooli, Group CEO commenting on the results, said: "Etisalat"s performance in the third quarter demonstrates our agility in adapting to the rapid changes in the telecom industry; we have channelled our efforts towards leading the digital transformation with the successful roll out of 5G networks while equipping our operations with the next generation of technologies like AI and robotics."
