Sharjah real estate transactions increases by 31.4 percent in Q3
(MENAFN) The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD said Sharjah recorded 14,974 real estate deals worth USD1.14 billion during the third quarter (Q3) of 2019, as against 11,393 property deals during Q3 2018.
Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, director-general of SRERD was quoted as saying by state news agency Wam "Figures reflect a significant rise of 31.4 per cent in the number of transactions recorded in the third quarter of 2019 as compared to the same period in 2018"
"The real estate transactions included 646 in sales, 1,453 in initial sale contracts and 210 in evaluations. These are added to 694 mortgages transactions which are valued at about USD49 billion," he added.
Most of the real estate transactions were recorded in Sharjah city branch, which constituted 96.9 per cent of the total transaction value recorded in the third quarter of 2019.
