Iran to promote trade ties with Georgia soon

(MENAFN) Speaking at a meeting with Gholamhossein Shafe'I, Shalva Kiknavelidze, the head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture in Tehran, said the ground is paved for trade talks with Georgia.

Shafe'i for his part described the rate of economic collaboration as favorable in recent years.

Boosting cooperation with Georgia on small- and medium enterprises (SMEs) is on the agenda of the country, he said.

On economic and political relations between Iran and Georgia, Shafe'i pointed that economic development in Georgia has been pursued at a hastened pace in recent years and the nation is among successful countries in business reform.
