Iranian Cabinet grants USD2.2b for 4 power plant, railway projects
(MENAFN) IRNA reported, Iranian cabinet approved USD2.2b finance proposed by Planning and Budget Organization (PBO) for implementation of four power plant and railway projects.
The mentioned finance Approved during a Sunday meeting of the cabinet, includes USD391 million for a project to renovate and modernize Ramin Power Plant in the southwestern city of Ahvaz, USD310 million for a project to improve generation capacity of Gatvand Hydroelectric Power Plant in southwestern province of Khuzestan, USD775.4million for building Zahedan-Birjand railway and linking it to Bafq-Mashhad railway, and USD739 million for a project to supply city and inter-city wagons and equip them.
As reported, the approved plan has been announced to the related organizations by the First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri.
