    Kuwait, Japan trade surplus declines by 13.5 percent in Oct.

    (MENAFN) According to the Japanese finance ministry, Kuwait's trade surplus with Japan declined by 13.5 percent year-on-year to USD381.02 million in October from USD440.60 million.

    The ministry added that the trade surplus decline was backed to a 5.1 percent decline in Kuwait's exports to the Asian nation, reaching USD 57.4 billion in October, compared to USD 60.5 billion in the same month a year earlier.

    Year-on-year, the GCC state's imports from Japan, the world's third largest economy, increased by 17.45 percent to USD 19.23 billion in October versus USD 16.46 billion a year earlier.
