    Iran's SME exports increase by 30 percent

    (MENAFN) Based on a statement by the deputy head of the Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO), Asghar Mosaheb, Iranian SMEs exported USD1.04 billion during the corresponding period last year.

    According to the official, the mentioned exports were made by 900 SMEs active in various industrial parks across the country.

    He noted that due to the difficulties pertaining to US sanctions, the number of exporting units has decreased compared to the previous year; however, the value of exports has increased.

    Mosaheb further pointed that the value of exports by the country's SMEs in the first six months of the current calendar year reached USD1.03 billion, to witness a 30-percent rise compared to the first six months of last year.
