USD130m Saudi funding to finance health and education projects in Sudan
(MENAFN) Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badawi, the Sudanese Minister of Finance, has received a written letter stating the approval of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fund for Development to assign two loans to finance projects in the health and education sectors in Sudan, amounting to USD130m.
The Saudi ambassador to Sudan Ali bin Hassan Jafar said that the funding comes at a vital stage for the development of the economy, in addition to the importance of its timing coinciding with the preparation of the budget for 2020.
The Sudanese minister praised the Kingdom's efforts to improve economic cooperation with Sudan.
