    Etihad Airways operates first flights to Jeddah's new terminal

    (MENAFN) Etihad Airways, the UAE's national carrier, has received a special reception at Jeddah's new Terminal 1, becoming the first airliner to operate flights to the new terminal after the inaugural flight operated on the airlines Dreamliner with the distinctive Saudi Arabia livery.

    According to a recent press release, Etihad Airways flights to Jeddah have transferred from the old terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) to the new terminal (Terminal 1), effective from Monday, 18 November.

    The chief commercial officer of Etihad Aviation Group, Robin Kamark said "As Etihad Airways and Saudi Arabian Airlines continue to strengthen their partnership; the new terminal will also provide convenient travel options to our customers, boosting the codeshare connectivity on joint services,"
