    Black Friday online sales rise by 20 percent in 2019

    (MENAFN) Based on Adobe Analytics, online spending in the US is expected to hit a record USD143.7 billion during the holiday season, registering a 14.1per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise, CNBC reported.

    The US holiday season starts from Thanksgiving, known as Black Friday, until Christmas and New Year's Eve.

    Shoppers are expected to spend around USD7.5 billion on Black Friday online deals, rising by more than 20 per cent, compared with 2018, according to Adobe Analytics.

    According to TechCrunch, consumers in the US have already spent more than USD50 billion in online shopping during 1-26 November 2019, recording a 15.8 per cent YoY increase.
