Morocco secures action program with IEA
(MENAFN) Morocco was announced to have sealed an agreement with Paris-based International Energy Agency (IEA) on an action program spanning through next year until 2021.
Under the program, bilateral relations between Morocco and the organization will be strengthened, especially in spheres including energy security, renewable energies, energy efficiency, capacity building, and data and statistics.
Reports confirmed that the action program entails satisfying some needs of Morocco, which entered back in November 2016 the IEA.
IEA affirmed the commencement of its cooperation with Morocco in 2007 within a range of areas, such as energy policy, statistics and research and development.
