    Electricity prices in Turkey today

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed on Wednesday that, the maximum electricity average for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 338 Turkish liras at 17:00 local time, and the minimum will be 254.58 liras at 03:00 local time.


    A rise of 2.43 percent to 144.9 million liras, in comparison with Tuesday was shown on Wednesday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    The arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 317.84 liras and 320.85 liras, respectively.


    On Wednesday, the maximum electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour was set as 335.01 Turkish liras at 17:00 local time, and the minimum was 200.01 liras at 04.00 and 05:00 local times.
