    Turkey: today's electricity prices

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 345 Turkish liras at 18:00 local time, and the minimum will be 260.59 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A climb of 2.35 percent to 154.26 million liras in comparison with Thursday was shown by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 327 liras and 329.21 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Friday, the maximum electricity price was set as 343.04 liras at 17:00 local time, and the minimum was 184.99 liras at 04:00 local time.
