    Today's electricity prices in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 338.26 Turkish liras at 18:00 local time, and the minimum will be 279.99 liras at 03:00 local time.


    A drop of 12.3 percent to 143.9 million liras in comparison with Thursday was shown by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 322 liras and 323.141 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market, the maximum electricity price for one-megawatt hour on Friday was set as 348.01 Turkish liras at 17:00 local time, and the minimum was 260.01 liras at 03:00 local time.
