    Turkey: today's electricity prices

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 345.01 Turkish liras at 17:00 and 18:00 local time, and the minimum will be 249.99 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A climb of 3 percent to 158.2 million liras in comparison with Sunday was shown on Monday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 326.22 liras and 328.99 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Monday, the maximum electricity price was set as 344.59 Turkish liras at 17:00 local time, and the minimum was 238.41 liras at 03:00 local time.
