Free Trade Agreement between Morocco, Turkey
(MENAFN) According to a joint statement published by official news agency MAP, on Wednesday, the recent Free Trade Agreement between Morocco and Turkey was agreed in Rabat to be more balanced.
As said in the statement, both countries agreed to increase bilateral trade to a "more balanced level and encourage the Turkish investments in Morocco in the production industry as well as Moroccan exports to Turkey."
After discussions among Moroccan Minister of Industry, Trade and Digital Economy Moulay Hafid Elalamy and visiting Turkish Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, the statement was published.
According to Elalamy, Morocco's and Turkey's experts will be working together to achieve a new deal by the end of January.
