    Today's electricity prices in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed on Sunday that, in the day-ahead spot market for Monday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 340.02 Turkish liras at 09:00 local time, and the minimum will be 228.58 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A climb of 20.78 percent to 159.81 million liras in comparison with Saturday was shown on Sunday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 315.38 liras and 319.44 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Saturday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 336.17 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum will be 181.98 liras at 09:00 local time.
