    Turkey: today's electricity prices

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 345.01 Turkish liras at 17:00 local time, and the minimum will be 250 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A raise of 1.13 percent to 156.05 million liras in comparison with Monday was shown on Tuesday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 324 liras and 326.57 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Tuesday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 340.84 liras at 18:00 local time, and the minimum will be 243.98 liras at 04:00 local time.
