    Turkey's electricity prices for today

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Sunday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 338.20 Turkish liras at 11:00 local time, and the minimum will be 247.48 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A rise of 19.82 percent to 156.82 million liras in comparison with Saturday was shown on Sunday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 320.66 liras and 323.41 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Saturday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 337.98 liras at 19:00 local time, and the lowest will be 199.99 liras at 09:00 local time.
