    Total oil imports in Turkey increase 45.7 percent in November last year

    (MENAFN) Turkish energy watchdog's data showed that, in November 2019, Turkey's total oil imports increased 45.7 percent to 3.72 million tons in comparison with November 2018.


    According to Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), crude oil imports, the category with the highest oil import volume, increased 135 percent in that period to arrive at 2.67 million tons.


    Turkey imported the highest quantity of crude from Russia with 1.35 million tons; Iraq and Kazakhstan were after with 544,357 tons and 267,012 tons, respectively in November 2019.


    In November 2019, oil refinery product output grew by 62.3 percent to 3.07 million tons and diesel production increased 63 percent to 1.3 million tons, gasoline production also rose by almost 8 percent to 421, 75 tons.
