    Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas imports decrease

    (MENAFN) Latest data revealed by the country's energy watchdog showed that, in November 2019, Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports dropped by 25.75 to 236 thousand tons in comparison with November 2018.


    Imports came from Algeria, the U.S., Kazakhstan, Norway, the U.K., Libya, Holland, 'Saint Kitts and Nevis' and Russia to Turkey, according to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data.


    In November, Turkey's LPG production grew to approximately 86 thousand tons, a yearly raise of 32.6 percent also, exports climbed by almost 1,152.66 percent to 17 thousand tons in November last year in comparison with November 2018.


    Total LPG sales increased by approximately 339 thousand tons in November, a 6.88 percent raise, including 273 thousand tons of auto gas, 58 thousand tons of bottled LPG, and 8 thousand tons of bulk LPG.
