    Today's electricity prices in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 328.95 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum will be 238, 20 liras at 06:00 local time.

     

    In comparison with Monday, a drop of 5.91 percent to 159.02 million liras was shown on Tuesday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.

     

    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 301.17 liras and 304.26 liras, respectively.

     

    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Tuesday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 338.97 Turkish liras at 09:00 local time, and the minimum will be 231, 40 liras at 04:00 local time.
