    Turkey: today's electricity prices

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 336.59 Turkish liras at 10:00 local time, and the minimum will be 200 liras at 04:00 and 05:00 local time.


    A drop of 2.53 percent to 157.36 million liras in comparison with Sunday was shown on Monday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated as 305.89 liras and 309.22 liras, respectively.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Monday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 341.57 Turkish liras at 18:00 local time, and the minimum was 200 liras at 04:00 local time.
