    Turkey: current account balance projected to post USD1.2 billion surplus in 2019

    (MENAFN) Turkey's recent account balance is estimated to make a USD1.2 billion surplus in 2019.


    The recent account balance for 2019 will be announced by the central bank and projected from a group of 12 economists range among USD800 million and USD1.7 billion.


    December's recent account balance is forecast to register a USD3 billion shortage predicts range between USD2.6 billion and USD3.3 billion.


    In November 2019, Turkey's recent account balance witnessed a drop of USD518 million while in 2018, it posted a deficit of USD27.6 billion; Turkey's new economic program, revealed in September, estimate a current-account-surplus-to-GDP ratio of 0.1 percent for 2019.
