    Today's electricity prices in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 346.31 Turkish liras at 11:00 local time, and the minimum will be 200.01 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A drop of 1.46 percent to 165.81 million liras in comparison with Tuesday was shown on Wednesday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated respectively as 319.01 liras and 322.59 liras.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday, the maximum electricity price was set as 365.89 liras at 11:00 local time, and the minimum was 200.01 liras at 03:00 and 05:00 local time.
