    Electricity prices in Turkey for today

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Monday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 335.07 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum will be 169.50 liras at 04:00 local time.


    In comparison with Saturday, a rise of 54.95 percent to 137.04 million liras was shown on Sunday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated respectively as 281.39 liras and 288.98 liras.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Sunday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 334.99 liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum was 42.91 liras at 15:00 local time.
