    Today's electricity prices in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 338.34 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum will be 212.18 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A rise of 15.71 percent to 158.56 million liras in comparison with Sunday was shown on Monday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated respectively as 316.47 liras and 319.07 liras.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Monday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 335.07 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum was 169.50 liras at 04:00 local time.
