Libya: crude oil prices trade with gains

(MENAFN) After rising supply fears in Libya and with U.S. approvals on a subsidiary of Russian oil firm Rosneft, on Wednesday, crude oil prices were trading with profits.

Fuel ships were immediately evacuated from the Tripoli port and all offloading operations were stopped after missiles attacked by an extremely explosive liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanker discharging in the port, as said in a statement by Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC).

The statement also said that, the LPG tanker and a gasoline tanker in Tripoli left the port after the attack right away for safe waters.

According to NOC Chairman Mustafa Sanalla, "today"s attack on Tripoli port could have led to a humanitarian and environmental disaster and it could have a significant impact on a crowded region like Tripoli".
