Transparency to be strengthened in Sudan's oil sector
(MENAFN) Transparency in Sudan's oil sector will be built up as the 7th petroleum report that seeks to boost the transparency was released by South Sudan's Petroleum Ministry.
Statistics on South Sudan's oil sales, investments, environment, oil infrastructure and production forecasts in the past year were presented in the released report.
The report looks forward to promote honesty and liability in the oil industry, according to Awow Daniel Chuang, Petroleum Minister.
The report will also assists with improving investors' confidence in South Sudan's oil sector, as Sudan seeks to release its first oil and gas licensing in the next months, he added.
