    Electricity prices for today in Turkey

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Monday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 344.07 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum will be 219.99 liras at 03:00 and 04:00 local times.


    A rise of 29.4 percent to 147.88 million liras in comparison with Saturday was shown on Sunday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated respectively as 303.92 liras and 306.61 liras.


    On the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Sunday, the maximum electricity cost was set as 343.36 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum will be 184.99 liras among 02:00 and 05:00 hours.
