    Turkey: electricity market's trade volume increases by 26.69 percent

    (MENAFN) Official figures showed that, in the day-ahead spot market for Monday, the maximum electricity rate for one-megawatt hour will be 345.80 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum will be 196.31 liras at 04:00 local time.


    A rise of 26.69 percent to 132.03 million liras in comparison with Saturday was shown on Sunday by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume.


    For the day-ahead spot market, the arithmetical and weighted average cost of electricity is calculated respectively as 276.27 liras and 280.08 liras.


    For one-megawatt hour on Sunday, the maximum electricity cost on the day-ahead spot market was set as 343.64 Turkish liras at 19:00 local time, and the minimum was 169.99 liras at 09:00 and 16:00 local time.
