    TEDPIX drops six percent in past Iranian calendar week

    (MENAFN) IRNA said in a report that, in the past Iranian calendar week, TEDPIX decreased by 6 percent and on Wednesday, the index ended 35,117 points lower at 520,211.


    In the Iranian calendar week ended on January 17, TSE saw the highest ever weekly increase of its main index, according to the report.


    In the Iranian calendar week, the index climbed 45,638 points, or 12.9 percent, to reach 399.445 points.


    27.689 billion securities worth about USD3.56 billion were traded through 2.151 agreements at TSE in that week, witnessing an increase of 12.9 percent and 33.7 percent in the number and value of traded securities, respectively, while 54.2 percent increase in the number of trades, as the report said.
