    Storage capacity of Iran's Offshore Oil Company grows by 1 million barrels

    (MENAFN) According to Ebrahim Alipour, Executor of the Iranian Offshore Oil Company's overhaul project on the Siri Island, the storage capacity of Iran's Offshore Oil Company, which is sited on Siri Island of Hormuzgan province, in southern Iran will grow by 1 million barrels.


    The repair is recently ongoing and will be finished by the end of the Iranian year, as said by Alipour.


    The crude oil storage capacity is recently 3.36 million barrels in the Siri Island and it will stand at 4.3 million barrels with the commissioning of the facility, as Alipour said.


    The recent cost of storing 1 million barrels of oil is USD40, 000-50,000, according to daily Company official; commissioning of this facility will allow saving on company costs.
