    UAE: by end of Wednesday's session, stocks gain AED12.5 billion in market cap

    (MENAFN) By the end of Wednesday's session, UAE stocks made AED12.5 billion in market cap led by the newest incentive stimulus packages, and the current decision to set a cut limit of 5 percent.


    After the current stimulation decisions to support the market, the enhanced investor sentiments witnessed Abu Dhabi's General Index increasing 2.29 percent to 3,399 points, with DFM growing 1.03 percent to 1,768 points.


    Against this backdrop as many as 8,219 transactions were conducted in UAE's 2 main bourses more than 425 million shares value AED550 million.


    Ending high at AED7.33, Emirates NBD was the top performer with Dubai Islamic Bank increasing to AED4.12 and to AED4.8.


    In Abu Dhabi, Etisalat climbed to AED12.68, ADCB to AED4.44, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank to AED3.74, with Aldar closing the session up at AED1.55.
